Drawing, Painting and Mixed Media

Have you ever been told that you cannot draw?

This fun and friendly weekly course, held at the beautiful Lightwoods House, in Lightwoods Park, is designed to encourage creative confidence by developing your skills in drawing, painting and mixed media. Through my demonstrations and one-to-one tutoring within the group, you will be inspired to take your creativity to your next level.

What will you learn on this course?

Through the terms you will learn or develop the following skills:

  • Drawing techniques

  • Weather permitting we will incorporate some drawing in the Shakespeare Garden

How you will apply these skills?

Initially small still-life, rocks, pebbles, shells and interesting objects will be provided each week to draw from. As the term progresses, you will be encouraged to develop your own ideas and expand your practice, which could then incorporate mini-projects that will run over a number of weeks.
